Obituary for Theresa C. Jacobs
Theresa C. Jacobs, 80 years, of Orefield, died Thursday December 7th, 2017 at Westminster Village in Allentown. She was preceded in death by her partner Margie K. Smith. Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late Bert and Dorothy (Stichler) Jacobs.
Terry was passionate about teaching. A graduate of Ursinus College, she taught Human Biology and Physical Education for many years in a variety of schools, retiring from the Northern Lehigh School District. Terry coached many high school girls basketball and softball teams. She was an avid sports enthusiast and along with her family was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan. She enjoyed music and traveling.
Surviving are her brother Phil and his wife Stella Jacobs of Binghamton, NY and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and 2 God daughters.
Memorial services will be held at 11am Tuesday December 12th, 2017 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, 18032. There will be a calling period from 10-11am at Tuesday at the funeral home.
