Obituary for Thomas D. Jaindl, Sr.
Thomas D. Jaindl, Sr. of Kissimmee FL, died Friday November 30th, 2018 at his residence at Kissimmee Village. He was the husband of the late Shirley (DeWalt) Jaindl. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Herman and Evelyn (Battley) Jaindl.
Thomas worked as a parts expediter for Branch Motors for 26 years before retiring. After that he worked for 14 years with the Allentown School District as a custodian. Thomas served in the Army in the Korean War where he earned 2 Bronze Stars and the Combat Infantry Badge. While in the service he worked as a mechanic in the Nevada Proving Grounds and witnessed 2 atomic bomb tests.
He is survived by his sons Mark Styron and Thomas Jaindl Jr., daughter Monica Martrich wife of Randy, brother James Jaindl husband of Clara and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Vanessa Jaindl and brother Herman.
