Obituary for Thomas R. Sceurman
Thomas R. Sceurman, 86, of Gilbert, Arizona passed away at Beehive Nursing Home on Sunday, May 19, 2024. Formally of Pennsylvania and born in Reading, PA. he was the son of the late Russell E. and Catherine W. (Burkholder) Sceurman.
Thomas served proudly in the U.S. Navy where he flew helicopters. He flew commercial helicopters in San Francisco and then worked as a ground school instructor for Pan Am and America West airlines.
Thomas loved photography and took many photos throughout the years. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his two sons; Jeffrey Sceurman and Scott Sceurman and two grandchildren; Caroline and Declan.
There will be a calling period held on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua, PA. 18032 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral parlor. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Allentown.
