Obituary for Thomas R. Spess
Thomas “Tom” Robert Spess, 57, of North Catasauqua, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 in his home. He was the husband of the late Deborah A. (Morgan) Spess. Born in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Gerald and Jean (Mohr) Spess. Tom was a man of many trades, his favorite being electric. Tom was a Senior Estimator for the Tri-M Group. He previously owned his own company, T.R. Spess Electric. His favorite job was being a Dad. Survivors: Son, Caleb and his wife Katie Spess; daughter, Amanda and her fiancé Craig Snyder, all of Northampton. Sister, Toni Hoffman of Catasauqua; Mother-in-law and friend, Carol Morgan of Catasauqua; many nieces and nephews and his four-legged buddy, Maddie. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah A. Spess; his parents, Gerald and Jean Spess; and his brothers, Gerald F. Spess, Jr., John C. Spess, and Richard Spess. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Thursday September 25 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. His viewing will be 9:30 am until 10:30 am Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be sent to the family in his name payable to and in care of the Brubaker Funeral Home.
