Obituary for Timothy A. Sommers
Timothy A. Sommers, 62, of Allentown, passed away on February 12, 2022, in his residence. He was the beloved husband of John Kelly with whom he would have celebrated 27 loving years of marriage this May. Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Edward H. and Nettie J. (Kemmerer) Sommers.

He was a loving and giving man who would help anyone in need. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his husband, John, he is survived by brother, Paul Sommers of Effort; sister, Robin Sommers of Allentown; his beloved dachshund, Tara; and many nieces and nephews. Tim was predeceased by siblings, Butch Sommers, Darlene Newell, Patricia Owens, and Helene Phelps.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 327 Chestnut St., Coplay PA 18037. A viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
