Obituary for Timothy E. Cole

Timothy E. Cole, 62, of Coplay, passed away on January 5, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown. Born in Allentown, he was the son of James and Constance (Piervallo) Cole.

Tim was a retired Technical Sergeant of the United States Air Force who served from 1978-1998. Any task that was put in front of him he was able to accomplish with hard work and dedication. His propensity to serve led him to receive the many achievements, honors, and awards that would set the tone for how he lived the rest of his life. Cooking and barbequing for friends and family were many of the moments that brought a smile to his face. Above all, his family was the most important part of his life. In addition to being an admired brother, he was also an adored son, noble father and loving grandfather. His family paid this tribute to him, “Tim opened his heart and home to many people over the years. He was one of the kindest people you could ever meet.” For those who knew and loved him dearly, Tim will be sorely missed, and forever in our thoughts and prayers.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by daughters Brittany Cole of Annapolis, MD, and Connie Cole of Brodheadsville, grandchildren, Kiera Gallagher and Carter Eustis; and siblings, Robert Cole of Coplay, Andrew Cole of Allentown, Matthew Cole of Quakertown, and Lori Cole of Chincoteague, VA. He was predeceased by his brother, David Cole.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, January 20, 2023, at Brubaker Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037. A viewing will take place from 9-11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Friends Helping Friends or Wounded Warrior Project c/o the funeral home.
