Obituary for Timothy M Smith
Timothy M. Smith, 67, of Northampton, formerly of Catasauqua, died Tuesday June 11, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. Born in Levittown, he was a son of the late Walter J. and Mary (Kerr) Smith.
Tim was a graduate of Catasauqua High School, Class of 1975. Tim honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked in the maintenance department for the East Penn School District for many years before retiring. Tim was an avid Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Philadelphia Phillies fan and was a member of the Catasauqua American Legion Post 215.
Above all he was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed.
Surviving are his daughter Steffany Rubel and her husband Joe, son Andrew Smith and wife Tiffany; grandson Tegan Smith; nephews Matt and Nathan. He was preceded in death by his brothers Scott and Kenneth, and nephews Stephen and Jeffrey.
A memorial calling period will be held from 1-3pm Friday June 21, 2024 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street, Catasauqua, PA 18032. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to an animal shelter of your choice.
