Obituary for Todd H. Althouse
Todd H. Althouse, 49, of Coplay died Wednesday February 14, 2007 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Susan L. Miksits and they celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary in May of 2006. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Ray W. and Joyce (Fogel) Althouse. Todd was employed at Lehigh Valley Hospital as a member of the security department for 18 years. Prior to that, he was employed as a part-time police officer for the Borough of Coplay and prior to that was employed by the former Leiss Metals. Todd was a 1982 graduate of the Allentown Police Academy. Survivors include his wife, daughter Tammy Fullen, brother Barry and his wife Delores, sisters Bonnie Fritchey, Wanda wife of James Scheetz, Donna Sedlock, and Pam wife of Corneil Makosky, and 1 granddaughter, Emma, nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Monday February 19, 2007 at 7:00PM at the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home, 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, PA 18032. Calling hours will be held from 6-7PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to a scholarship fund for Todd’s granddaughter in care of the funeral home.
