Obituary for Veronica E Wenner
Veronica E. Wenner, 83, formerly of Hellertown, passed away on February 26, 2021, at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth. Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John and Veronica (Sullivan) Klega.
She was a graduate of St. Philip and St. James High School and was a member of St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church in Hellertown. What mattered most to Veronica was her family. She was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, and doting great-grandmother. She was a lady with unshakable faith in Jesus and embodied the humble spirit of a Christian. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by five sons, Robert Wenner and fiancée, Joyce of Clinton NJ; Richard Wenner of California; Timothy Wenner and wife, Terry of West Virginia; Donald Wenner and wife, Lisa of Augustine, FL; and David Wenner and partner, Laura of Frederick, MD; two daughters, Maryann, wife of Doug Potts of Redding, California; and Elaine, wife of Christopher Eddy of Coplay; eight grandchildren, Donald, Amanda, Zachary, Carly, Monika, Elizabeth, Michael, and Sunshine; four great-grandchildren, Donny, Alex, Luke, and Landon; brothers James “Jim” Klega of California; sister, Ruth, wife of James Martin of Forks Twp; and sister-in-law, Catherine Klega of Washington State. She was predeceased by brother, John Klega and sister-in-law, Shirley Klega.
A Memorial Mass will be held and announced at a later date. Contributions may be made in Veronica’s memory to St. Jude Children Hospital at 01 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
