Obituary for Veronica M. DeLucas
Veronica M. DeLucas, 71 of Fullerton, Whitehall, died Friday July 6th, 2012 at her residence in Whitehall. She was married to Stephen J. DeLucas of Whitehall and celebrated 53 years of marriage this past April. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John T. and Veronica (Majbroda) Weretta. Veronica was a homemaker and loving mother. She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church of Whitehall. Surviving along with her husband are son Marc S. and wife Patti of Catasauqua; daughters Audrey J. Rogers and husband Tony of Whitehall and Alison M. Stephenson and husband Tim of Bath; sisters Helen Basovsky and husband Tom and Dorothy Fatzinger and husband Robert both of Northampton; five grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren; 1 great grandson, 2 step-great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am, Wednesday July 11th, 2012 in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Avenue, Whitehall, 18052. Her viewing will be from 9:30am until10:30am in the church. The Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Catasauqua is in charge of the arrangements.
