Obituary for Virginia Geiger
Virginia “Ginny” Geiger, 85 years of Whitehall died Friday December 10, 2010 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of Robert R. Geiger of Whitehall and the late Charles W. Mumey. Born in Scranton, Pa. she was the daughter of the late Edwin G. and Minnie (Searfoss) Holland. Ginny was a member of Faith Evangelical Church of Whitehall. Surviving with her husband are stepson James husband of Darlene Geiger of Allentown, brother Richard Holland of Yardley, Pa., granddaughter Cheryl wife of Jeremy Ebert and grandson James Geiger Jr. husband of Tracy Geiger. Virginia has five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be officiated by the Rev. Michael J. Bodnyk at 2:00pm Tuesday December 14 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. Call 1:00pm until 2:00pm Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in her name payable to Animals in Distress 5075 Limeport Pike Coopersburg, Pa. 18036.
