Obituaries
Bill worked as a machine operator for Mail Well, formerly Bois Cascade for 35 years before retiring. He was a graduate of Catasauqua High School class of 1956, a member of Porter Lodge #284 F.& A.M. Catasauqua, the Porter Club and the Lehigh Consistory. He served on the N. Catasauqua Zoning Board, the Catasauqua School Board and a life time member of the Charotin Fire Co. Bill was active in the Midget Wresting Program in Catasauqua.
Surviving with his wife Nancy are daughter Wendy wife of David Burcaw of Moore Twsp., sons William A. Wittman II and his wife Patricia of Kempton, Scott Wittman of N. Catasauqua, sister Bonnie Fisher and grandchildren Shawn, Clayton, Sarah, Shayna, Jacob, Rachel and Grace. He was preceded in death by his brother Bruce.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday August 4 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. Call 6:00pm until 8:00pm Monday August 3 and 10:00am until 11:00am Tuesday August 4 in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given in his name payable to Masonic Charities c/o of the Brubaker Funeral Home.
