William F. Malitsch, 85, of Coplay, PA. passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023. He was married to his wife, Myrtle (Moyer) Malitsch for 61 years. William was born in Coplay, the son of the late Charles J. and Mary (Solderitch) Malitsch.
He was a laborer for the former A&B Meats, Allentown and retired from Knauss Foods, Inc., Quakertown in 2004. He was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Coplay. He was a former member of the Coplay Saengerbund and the American Club of Coplay. He enjoyed bowling, gardening, and cooking and loved animals.
Survivors: Wife, Myrtle, daughters, Maryann Stair (husband Fred), Roseann Zeppenfelt (husband Mark), Lisa Fisher (companion Tim Weidner); son, William C. (wife Terri); grandchildren, Rachel, Erica, Jacob, Sara, T.J. and 2 great grandchildren. William was predeceased by brothers, Charles, Joseph, Louis, John, Frank, Stephen, Anthony, Gregory; sisters, Theresa Schweitzer, Mary Luckenbach, Rose Wagner, and Anna Searfoss.
Services will be on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 327 Chestnut Street from 08:30 -09:30 a.m. Followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 4 S. 5th Street, Coplay. Burial in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Coplay, PA.
