Obituaries
William J. Feichtel, 94, of Coplay, died Wednesday December 18, 2024, in Quakertown. Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late Frank and Theresa (Sammer) Feichtel.
Bill was a 1948 graduate of Central Catholic High School and received his B.S. in Secondary Education from Kutztown State College in 1959. William received his New York Certificate for Elementary Education in 1961 and earned his master’s in education from Cortland State University College in 1967. Bill honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
After the Air Force, Bill worked as a student teacher for Parkland and Whitehall High School before relocating and pursuing his teaching career in New York state. Following his teaching career, he attained his realtors license and worked as a realtor.
He is survived by a niece and nephew and many friends.
His viewing will be from 12-12:30pm Monday, December 23, 2024, at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 327 Chestnut St. Coplay, PA 18037. Funeral service at 12:30pm Monday at the funeral home.
