Obituary for William J. Lebish
William J. Lebish 73 years of Catasauqua died Friday December 7, 2007 in St. Luke’s Hospital Bethlehem. He was the husband Beatrice Kresge Lebish. Born in Stiles, Pa. he was the son of the late Harold and Josephine (Lebish) Kuhns. Bill worked as manager in the Pennsylvania Wine and Spirits Liquor Shops in the Whitehall stores for 35 years before retiring. Known for his music Bill played German button box at the Edelweiss House in Northampton and various Lehigh Valley locations. He was also an avid amateur photographer and a US Army veteran. Bill was a faithful member of the Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua. Surviving with his wife are sons Richard husband of Diane Kresge of Florida, Stanley Kresge and Companion Marilyn Smith of Florida, Kevin husband of Mary Ann Kresge of Coplay and daughter Charlotte wife of Bernie Faraldo of Whitehall. Bill has fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son James Kresge. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday December 15, 2007 in the Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua Second and Pine Streets Catasauqua, Pa. 18032 Call 7:00pm until 8:30pm Friday December 14 in the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua. In lieu of flowers contributions mat be sent to the church.
