Obituary for William W. Trine
William W. Trine 83 years formerly of N. Catasauqua died Friday August 21, 2009 in Gracedale, Nazareth, Pa. He was the husband of Katharine (Campbell) Trine and celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary July 17, 2009. Born in Catasauqua he was the son of the late William J. and Mary (Kalnas) Trine. Bill had worked as a store manager with the former A & P Store of Catasauqua from 1942 until 1970 and then he was employed as a produce manager with the Food Lane Stores for 13 years before retiring in 1983. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua where he served as a deacon for 13 years. Bill served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army Air Force. Surviving with his wife are nephews William Campbell Jr., Roy Campbell, Richard Campbell, niece Janet Campbell Stults and grand nieces and grand nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday August 26, 2009 in the Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua 210 Pine Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. Call 9:30am until 10:30am Wednesday in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. Memorial contributions may be given to the church.
