Obituary for Elizabeth A. Smith
Elizabeth “Bettie” (Heffner) Smith, 84 of Allentown, PA passed away peacefully on October 23, 2016. She was previously married to the late David L. Smith who passed away in 2007. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late George Jacob and Helen May (Baus) Heffner.

Elizabeth held various jobs throughout her lifetime to include working at the Credit Bureau, Hess’s Department Store, Parkland School District, Bethlehem Steel and the Lehigh Valley Hospital. But her greatest joy in life was raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren, siblings, and friends.

Survivors: She is survived by her two sons, David and wife Maki, Thomas of Walnutport, her two daughters Linda and husband Lester Ettl of Catasauqua, Liza and husband Mark Roth of New Port Richey, FL. Seven grandchildren; Justin and Arlyanah, Lindsay and Lucas, and Augustus, Alexander, and Adrian, and a great grandson, Zayvien. Also surviving is her brother George “Sonny” and his wife Lois, Sister Dolores and husband Jack Meitzler all of Allentown, and her sister in law Beverly Heffner of AZ. She was preceded in death by her sister Katheryn (Heffner) Yothers and her brother James “Jimmy” Heffner.

Services: A Memorial Service to celebrate Elizabeth’s life will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 4 Pine Street, Catasauqua, PA 18032.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation made payable to “Second Wind Dreams, c/o Elizabeth Smith” can be taken to the church or sent to 350 South Cedarbrook Road, Allentown, PA 18104.
