Obituary for Nevin L. "Butch" Holderman
Nevin L. “Butch” Holderman, 70 years of Northampton died Friday January 6, 2017 peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was married 51 years to Theresa B. (Jackson) Holderman. Born in Rockdale, Pa. he was the son of the late George Holderman Sr. and Pauline (Schneck) Holderman.
Butch loved racing his stock car having raced at Dorney Park and the Mahoning Valley Speedways. He was a life member of the Hokendauqua Fire Company where he was a volunteer fireman. He was an avid pool player and he was a member of the Sons of the Legion of the Fred Snyder Post 353, Northampton. He had worked various jobs in the Lehigh Valley before retiring.
Surviving with his wife Theresa are Daughters Roseann wife of David Johnson, Paulette wife of Ronald Helman, SherryAnn wife of Michael Perl and a Son Nevin A. husband of Suzanne Holderman, Brothers George husband of Brenda Holderman, David Holderman and Herman husband of Teri Holderman. Butch has eight grandchildren, Courtney, Ryan, Ronald, Benjamin, Michael, Paul, Sydney and Elizabeth and three great grandchildren Trynity, Lilly and Joseph.
His viewing will be 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm Wednesday January 11, 2017 and 10:00 am until 11:00 am Thursday January 12, in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032.
