Obituary for Claude F. White, Jr.
Heaven gained another angel on August 23,2014, Claude F. White, Jr., of Whitehall, formerly of Palmerton returned home surrounded by his family and friends. Born in Northampton County, the son of the late Claude F. and Virginia (Kester) White. He was married to Gina (Abraham)White. Claude was employed by the Allentown Laborers Union Local #1174, retiring in 2013. He leaves behind his wife Gina, daughters, Tina wife of Zachary Keenan of Northampton, Laurette White of Lehighton; step-daughter, Dawn Abraham of Chambersburg; brother, Paul of Kokomo, Indiana, Roger of Bowmanstown, half brother, Randy Haydt; sisters, Betty Wieand of Bowmanstown, Hilda Dougherty of Bethlehem, half-sister, Alice Strubel of Arkansaw; his precious grandchildren, Ava and Owen Keenan. Claude also had many friends who loved him dearly and he will always be known as "the pickle man", as he loved gardening, canning, and cooking. He also cherished collecting many different things and had a particular passion for comic books(The Amazing Spiderman) and toys. He frequently attended auctions for his enjoyment. Services: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 28, 2014, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay. Viewing from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
