Obituary for John J. Jones
John J. "Pat" Jones, 99, of Northampton, passed away April 9, 2015 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Inpatient Hospice Unit, Allentown. He was the married to the late Rita F. (Eisenbraun) Jones. Born in New York City, he was the son of the late James F. and Mary (Birmingham)Jones. He was a pipe mechanic for Con-Edison, New York for 32 years retiring in 1980. A WWII veteran, he served his country honorable in the U.S. Army Quartermaster Corps. He was a member of the VFW Post #4714, Northampton and the Mid-County Senior Center, Bath. He was a member of St. Nicholas R.C. Church, Berlinsville, and Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Bath. Survivors, Daughter, Denise M. Jones wife of Steven P. Bankich at home; sister, Eileen "Nene" Flanagan of New York. He was predeceased by brothers, James. Bobby, Tommy, and sisters, Helen and Margaret. Services: 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 16, 2015, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037. Call 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service. Interment, with military honors, Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Memorial Contributions: In lieu of flowers, to Lehigh Valley Hospice c/o the funeral home.
