Obituary for Stanley W. Reinhard, Jr.
Stanley W. Reinhard, Jr., 84, of Coplay passed away July 7, 2015 at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. He was married to Beverly F. (Druckenmiller)Reinhard. Born in Coplay, he was the son of the late Stanley W. Sr. and Jennie E. (Miller)Reinhard. A Past State Commander of the PA American Legion and a past commander of Coplay Post #426, he served his country honorably in the army during the Korean War. He was a foreman for Freeman's Diary, Allentown and later, the State Activities Director for the PA American Legion and finally retiring as its State Adjutant. He was past President of the Coplay Fire Co. #1 and later appointed Fire Chief. He was Chairman of the Coplay Parkway and Recreation Commission and currently was Chairman of the Coplay Civil Service Commission. Receiving many meritorious and commendation medals, he was inducted into the American Legion Sports Hall of Fame, the PA Dept. of Military Affairs Hall of Fame, and the first inductee in to the Pa. Sons of the American Legion Hall of Fame. Stanley was the last President of Scotland School for Veterans Children Board of Trustees and Chairman of the PA Veterans Memorial Commission. He was a member and former council President of St. John's Lutheran Church, Coplay. Survivors: Beloved wife; son, Jeffrey Reinhard of Whitehall; daughters, Cindy J. wife of Thomas Graf of Allentown, Jodi L. Reinhard of Lehighton, Penny L. Reinhard of Coplay; stepson, George Keiser and wife Carol of Quakertown; grandchildren, Tyler, Alyssa, Jay, Mark, Christopher, Ann, Kevin. He was predeceased by a sister, Janice Confer. Services: Viewing from 6-9 p.m., Sunday, July 12, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay. Services, 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 13, St. John's Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St., Coplay with the Rev. Timothy D. Boyer, officiating, assisted by Stan's grandson, Rev. Mark J. Ruzicka. Continued services and interment at 1:00 p.m., Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Contributions: In lieu of flowers to the church c/o the funeral home 18037.
