Obituary for Oscar Klein
Oscar Klein, 88, of Stiles, passed away on December 6, 2020, at ManorCare in Allentown. He was the loving husband of 62 years to Christa (Neubert) Klein. He celebrated their anniversary this past September the 6th. Born in Mulenbach, Slovakia, he was the son of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Roth) Klein.
Oscar attended high school and trade school while living and growing up in Germany. He was a member of the German organization, KDL, which consisted of German settlers emigrated to America. Oscar was a master carpenter who worked well into his 80’s and was extremely skilled. He loved to eat good German food and loved to travel, especially to Germany and Disney World. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his beloved wife, Christa of Stiles, he is survived by daughter, Heidi Klein of Stiles; Anita Klein of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Erin and Lucia; great grandchildren, Morgan, Dakota, Evie, and Eleanor. He is also survived by brothers Erich Klein of Slatington and Julius Klein of Coplay. He was predeceased by brother, Ernst and sister, Elizabeth.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may made in Oscar’s memory to the Sanctuary of Haafsville at 901 Nestle Way, Breinigsville, PA 18031. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., Coplay, is entrusted with arrangements.
