Obituary for Marie F. Markowitz
Marie F. Markowitz, 93, of Allentown, passed away on December 9, 2020 at Whitehall Manor Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late John Markowitz. Born in Hokendauqua, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Florence (Lorah) Schirmacher.
Marie spent her working years as a presser at the Queen City Dress Factory in Allentown. She loved taking trip and loved animals, especially all of her puppies. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by her sister, Nancy, wife of Andy Krasulak of Allentown; and her brother, William Schirmacher and wife Marge, all of Hokendauqua. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Dora Pirog, Dorothy Bittner, Charles and Gerald Schirmacher.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., Coplay is entrusted with arrangements.
