Obituary for Christina Berg-Boldt (nee Holko)
Christina Berg-Boldt, née Holko, formerly of Bethlehem and Catasauqua, passed away on March 20, 2020 in Bettendorf, Iowa.
Born to the late John and Louise Holko, Tina was a graduate of both Bethlehem Catholic High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She spent many years working at ComCom in Allentown and then moved to Iowa, where she opened two toy stores, A Planet's Wild and Teddy and Friends in Muscatine, all while working for the Graphic Arts Technology Center of Iowa (GATCI).
Those left to honor her memory are her daughter, Madelaine Berg, from Iowa City, Iowa; sister Teresa Stillman of Lawrenceville, New Jersey; brother, Joseph Holko of Allentown; and countless other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husbands, RIck Berg and Jeff Boldt and her brother John Holko.
A celebration of life event will be held on Saturday, August 14, from 9:30am - 11:30am at the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home, 234 Walnut Street, Catasauqua, PA 18032. If you are unable to attend in person to celebrate her memory, always remember Tina’s words, “Be kind, don't be afraid to stand up for yourself, and eat something decadent!”
