Obituary for LaRue A. Heiney
LaRue A. Heiney, 74, of Danielsville, passed away at St. Lukes’ Monroe Campus on Monday, February 7, 2022. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Stanley Geisinger and Arlene (Fenstermaker) Geisinger. She was the loving wife of Dale A. Heiney with whom she shared 49 years of marriage.
LaRue was a member of St. John’s U.C.C. Mickley’s. She was employed as a personal care aide for a nursing facility. She was involved in scouting and church functions and was always willing to volunteer her time when needed. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving along with her husband Dale are sons, Stanley Geisinger and wife Jamie, Donald D. Heiney and wife Theresa; sister; Claire and husband Paul Keeler; grandchildren; Samantha, Ashley, Andrew, Lorrell and Drake; great grandchildren; Ryan, Cali, Mia, Ava, Asher and Eli. She was predeceased by her son Darryl.
Services are private. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the church. St. John’s U.C.C. Mickley’s 2918 MacArthur Rd, Whitehall, PA 18052.
