Obituary for Michael J. Fink
Michael J. Fink, 65, of Catasauqua, died Saturday October 1, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg. Born in Allentown, he was a son of Irvin W. Fink of Catasauqua and the late Catherine T. (Regits) Fink.
Michael worked in electronics all of his life. After receiving his Associates Degree, he was employed at Western Electric as an electrician for many years. He worked a variety of other jobs before taking a position at the Army Depot at Tobyhanna, where he stayed until his retirement. Michael loved music and enjoyed performing as a DJ when he was younger. He and his brother Tom also loved working for various theaters around the Lehigh Valley providing the sound and lighting for their productions.
Michael will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving along with his father, Irvin, are his brothers Thomas Fink and his wife Dee, Daniel Fink, Steven Fink and his wife Kathy; his sister Susan Fink; his nieces and nephews Jennifer Felegy, Matthew Fink, Shannon Carl, Tyler Fink, Megan Fink, Jacob Fink, Olivia Fink, Emma Fink and Eli Fink; and his great nieces and nephews Alexis Visser, Grant Felegy, Camden Carl and Kinsley Carl.
Private graveside services will held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or to the Lehigh Valley Hospice at P.O. Box 1883, Allentown, PA 18105-1883. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Catasauqua is honored to handle the arrangements.
