Obituary for Mary Solderich
Mary Solderich, 98 years, died surrounded by her family Tuesday, March 27th, 2018 in her home in Coplay. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Solderich. Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline (Deutsch) Wandler.
Mary was a long time member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Coplay as well as their Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed making pierogies at the church and being a part of the Coplay Senior Citizens group. Mary worked as a sewing machine operator for several local garment mills before retiring.
Surviving are her son Joseph, sister Theresa Sommers and brother Edward Wandler and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Richard, sister Rose Laurito and brother Stephen Wandler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am Wednesday April 4th, 2018 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 4 S. 5th St. Coplay, 18037. Her viewing will be held at 9-10am Wednesday at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., formerly Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St. Coplay, 18037.
