Obituary for Miriam A. Azar
Miriam A. Azar, 96 years, of Coplay, passed peacefully to our Lord on Monday November 19th, 2018 at Whitehall Manor. She was the wife of the late Harold Azar. Born in Fullerton, she was the daughter of the late Preston and Louisa (Schafer) Litzenberger.
Miriam was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Coplay. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, with a sweet personality, who always shared a laugh with her family. She and her husband were inseparable, his darling “Irish” of 76 years.
Survivors include a daughter Connie, wife of Larry Rivers of Coplay, grandchildren Cheri, wife of Gino Schneider of Hellertown and Patrick Rivers and his wife Kathy of Egypt, and great grandchildren Jaimie, Nick, Tianna, and Patrick. She was predeceased by brothers Harrison and Lawrence and sisters Evelyn and Arlene.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Friday November 23rd, 2018 at Brubaker Funeral Home Inc. 327 Chestnut St. Coplay, PA 18037. A viewing will be held from 9-10AM on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church 18 S. 3rd St. Coplay, PA 18037.
