Obituary for Daisy Ann Moyer
Daisy Ann (Wessner) Moyer 89 of Catasauqua died Tuesday May 8, 2007 in Cedarbrook Fountain Hill Annex, Bethlehem. She was the widow of the late Willie (Bill) W. Moyer. Born in Maxatawny Township, she was a daughter of the late William W. and Daisy (Kutz) Wessner. Daisy was a member of Salem U.C.C. in Catasauqua. She worked at Allentown State Hospital in Dietary Service for over 21 years before retiring in 1978. Surviving are daughter Barbara Hoffman of Northampton; son Walter W. Moyer and his wife Donna of Seaford, DE; grandchildren Michelle and her husband Tim Wright, Wendy and her husband Chris Eckenrode, and Donald and his wife Karen Moyer; 6 great grandchildren and her companion John J. “Hank” Herman. Step sister Mildred Gehringer and step brother Wayne Wessner. Services will be held 11:00am Saturday May 12, 2007 at the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home, 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, 18032. Call from 10:00-11:00am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Hope Cemetery in Kutztown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may made in her name to Salem U.C.C., 615 Third St. Catasauqua, 18032.
