Obituary for Helen (Churetta) Solderich
Helen Solderich, 86 years of Steel City, formerly of Hokendauqua, died May 22, 2012 in Gracedale County Home in Nazareth. She was married to the late Herman C. Solderich. Born in Hokendauqua she was the daughter of the late John and Barbara (Chabak) Churetta Helen was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church of Hellertown, PA. She is survived by two sisters. Betty, wife of Alvin Arnold of Orlando, FL. Barbara, wife of Daniel D’Amico of Easton, PA. Daughter Mary Jane, wife of Bruce Henry of Etters, PA. Son and daughter-in-law Herman F. and Rose Solderich, Sr. with whom she resided for the last 22 years. She has 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three children; Irene Ruth, Anna Mae Myers and John C. Solderich. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 1229 Third Street, Catasauqua, PA on Friday, May 25, 2012. Call from 8:30 to 9:30 am prior to the service on Friday at the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street, Catasauqua, PA 18032. Interment will be at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery in Northampton.
