Obituary for Mildred A. "Millie" Morgan
Mildred A. “Millie” Morgan, 97 years of Catasauqua died Wednesday April 17, 2013 in her son’s home in Whitehall. She was the wife of the late John L. Morgan. Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late George R. and Ellen G. (Kosman) Silfies. Millie was the oldest member of Salem United Church of Christ of Catasauqua and an avid 76er’s fan. Surviving are son Ken husband of Bernadette Morgan of Whitehall, daughters Barbara wife of Clyde Schadler of Catasauqua and Cathy wife of Paul Reiter of Catasauqua. Millie has eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and her beloved dog “Buffy”. Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday April 22, 2013 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua. Call 10:00am until 11:00am Monday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name payable to the Lehigh Valley Hospice or to Salem U.C.C.
