Obituary for David R. Kester
David R. Kester 59, of Whitehall died Wednesday April 22, 2009 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem. He was a son of the late Harry A. and Dorothy V. (Werner) Kester. He was married to Pauline (Fritchman) Kester of Whitehall. David was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was employed at Emmaus Auto parts as a counter customer serviceman. He also worked for Auto Parts Warehouse for two years. Along with his wife, survivors include daughter Catrina (Kester) Williams an grandchildren: Austin, Kristin, Zachary, Brandon and Hunter all of Ohio; sisters: Sandra Mink and husband Peter of Coplay, Judith Smith and husband Barry of Slatington, Ann Rosario of Slatington; brothers: Harry Kester, Jr. and wife Hilda of Coopersburg, Robert Kester, Sr. and wife Marie of Wind Gap, James Kester Sr., and wife Sunshine of Arkansas, Elmer Kester and wife Suzanne of South Carolina, Richard Kester, Sr. and wife Patricia of Walnutport. Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters Dorothy V. Kester, Jane Kester and Virginia (Kester) White and brothers: William Kester, Sr. and John Kester. Services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, April 27th, 2009 at the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, PA 18032. Call Monday from 10:00 am -11:00 am in the funeral home.
