Obituary for John Mikula
John Mikula, 90 years of Whitehall formerly of Catasauqua died Friday November 14, 2014 in Whitehall Manor. Married for 57 years in April 2014 he was the husband of Joan (Clarke) Mikula of Whitehall. Born in Pardeesville he was the son of the late John and Anna (Fetchko) Mikula. John retired in 1986 as an Inventory Control Monitor for Air Products of Allentown after 30 years of service. He is a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church of N. Catasauqua. John enjoyed traveling to Notre Dame football games and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving with his wife Joan is daughter Jean M. Kutchera wife of John, son Jim Mikula husband of Rose, daughter in law Laura, grandchildren Kyle, Megan, Sara, Joanne, James and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Tom and his sisters Anna, Margaret, Helen and Rita. His mass will be 11:00am Saturday November 22 in the former St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church 1001 Second Street N. Catasauqua. Call 9:30am until 10:30am in the Brubaker Funeral home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery N. Catasauqua.
