Obituary for Mildred E. Horldt
Mildred E. Horldt, 91 years, of Allentown, passed away on Friday January 17th, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Kenneth C. Horldt, Sr. who passed away March 17th, 1996 and were married 54 years when he died. Born in Whitehall, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Catherine (Newhard) Loch. Mildred worked for the Allentown Manufacturing Co. and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Worker Union. She loved going to Alburtis to listen to country and western music and loved playing cards with her in-laws Jean & Dill Dillmann. Mildred also enjoyed visiting her husband’s brother Carl and his wife Betty. She is survived by her son Kenneth C. Horldt, Jr.; three grandchildren Traci, Cindy and Nelson Tassie; and 7 great grandchildren. Mildred was preceded in death by her daughter Maxine J. Tassie, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Graveside services will be held at 11am Tuesday, January 21st, 2014 at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, 1441 Roth Ave. Allentown, 18102. There will be a calling period, graveside from 10:30-11am on Tuesday.
