Obituary for Dorothy E. Woodring
Dorothy E. (Boxmeyer) Woodring, 95, of Catasauqua went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 in Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. She was the wife of the late Paul A. Woodring. Born in Fullerton, she was the daughter of the late Ruth (Dieter) Michael and Harry A. Boxmeyer and the stepdaughter of the late William L. Michael. Dorothy was a telephone operator for Fuller Company in Catasauqua many years before retiring. She was a member of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church of Catasauqua. Survivors: Son, William P. Woodring and his wife Nancy of Catasauqua; granddaughter Constance Bugbee and her husband James of Catasauqua, grandson Todd Woodring and his wife Tania of Schnecksville, granddaughter Tammy Metzger and her husband Scott of Northampton; great-grandchildren Eric Bugbee and his wife Jill, Michael Bugbee, Nicholas Metzger, and Mikayla-Anne Woodring. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday February 5 in the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua. Call 10:00am until 11:00am Monday in the funeral home.
