Obituary for William T. Ettl
William T. Ettl, 78 years of Catasauqua died Thursday August 9, 2012 in Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. Born in Allentown he was the son of the late Francis V. and Frances Ida (Miller) Ettl. He was the husband of Loretta Mae (Siegfried) Ettl. William worked at Western Electric for many years before retiring. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Whitehall where he played dart baseball for many years. He was a member of Fullerton Legion #367 and the Telephone Pioneers. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. Surviving with his wife is his son Lester and wife Linda Ettl of Catasauqua. Brother Thomas W. Ettl and sister Nancy. He had two grandchildren Lindsay and Lucas. He was preceded in death by brothers Joseph and Jimmy and sisters Mary Jane and Betty. Funeral services will be Saturday, 11:00am August 18th, 2012 in the Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Fourth and Pine Streets Catasauqua. Call 10:00am to11:00am in the church prior to the services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name payable to Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church or Asera Care Hospice c/o the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032.
